Full Job Description
This role is the execution engine underneath it: the person who takes AI projects all the way to launched, sustained, and quantified results, and who builds the AI Hub into the place our people go to learn AI, use what we have deployed, and get help. You are the connective tissue between the technical solutions and employees actually getting value from them. Everything else on this job description is secondary to that. If you cannot take something from idea to a documented, measurable win, nothing else here matters. Responsibilities
  • Drive projects to measured value. This is the number one priority. Partner with employees to take AI projects from idea to pilot to launch to sustainment. Baseline the "before" first, then track adoption and benefits and produce a defensible benefit case (hard dollars, capacity, strategic, risk) for every win.
  • Build and grow the AI Hub. Take the Hub our summer intern launched to the next level, the single place employees go to learn AI, use what we have deployed, and ask for help, and keep building whatever the organization needs next.
  • Educate and enable. Run training and office hours for every level, from first-timers to power users, and grow a champion network so adoption spreads without you in the room.
  • Remove barriers, with IT. Be technical enough to sit with IT and clear the blockers in a person's way: access, tooling, integrations, security, so good ideas do not die waiting.
  • Communicate relentlessly. Run a regular and as-needed communication cadence that keeps the whole company updated, engaged, and pulled into Elevate AI, in parallel with the building, not after it.
  • Hold the guardrails. Keep compliance and approved-use guardrails in place as things move fast, and be willing to say no to bad AI use cases.
Qualifications
  • Has actually shipped an AI-powered tool, workflow, or automation that other people use, not just personal AI use. Can point to something real.
  • Can take a vague problem, break it into small deliverable pieces, ship a solution, and then measure the benefit it produced, rather than pitching a roadmap that never lands.
  • Direct hands-on experience with Anthropic and Claude specifically (Claude Code, Claude in Chrome, custom skills, Projects, or the API), and can design a solution with it, not just prompt it well. This is the platform Sprout has standardized on.
  • Technical enough to work hand-in-hand with IT. Not necessarily a software engineer, but can hold a real conversation about access, integrations, data, and security, and get things unblocked.
  • Can run communication to a whole organization. Write and drive a cadence that keeps people informed, engaged, and bought in.
  • Influences without direct reports. Gets buy-in across departments and sister organizations (Sprout, Velerity Compute, 1st-tech) that do not report to them, and knows when to push on resistance versus when to let it go rather than escalating every disagreement.
  • Works the full range, from hands-on operations to supporting Caroline's ELT-level reporting on the CoE, and can teach that same approach to people at very different experience levels, from beginner to power user.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information (customer, asset, deal data) responsibly, given what Sprout and Velerity touch day to day.
