Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

Transform the future of Home Lending with the power of AI—where your vision and product leadership will help deliver a faster, more automated experience for Chase customers. The Home Lending Product Transformation team is responsible for delivering a re-imagined experience for our Chase customers, through a faster, more automated home lending ecosystem.

As an Executive Director of Product Management for Home Lending Product and Transformation, you will define the outcomes that matter and deliver AI-powered capabilities to achieve them—accelerating idea-to-impact while raising quality and speed. You will partner closely with engineering, design, and business leaders, remove blockers, and lead a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be an AI builder with a proven track record of shipping agentic, LLM-powered solutions and the product judgment and leadership to set a higher bar for execution. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact and help us set new industry standards.

Job responsibilities:

  • Raise the bar by establishing a prototype-first delivery model: use firm-approved tooling and light coding to build interactive agentic prototypes that compress design/engineering cycle times and accelerate alignment.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer and business value; translate strategy into clear, measurable outcomes and sequenced delivery plans at enterprise scale, with a focus on reducing cycle time.
  • Translate requirements into crisp functional specifications (process flows, business rules, data definitions, acceptance criteria) that engineering can implement with minimal rework; incorporate platform/integration dependencies and technical constraints transparently so sequencing reflects real delivery complexity.
  • Design and deliver agentic experiences across multiple modalities and channels (in-app chat, SMS, RCS, and outbound/inbound voice), ensuring consistent outcomes and clear human handoffs/escalations.
  • Define agent operating boundaries and guardrails (permitted actions, tool access, context scope, escalation rules, stop conditions) to ensure predictable behavior within enterprise standards.
  • Establish prompt refinement and optimization practices: continuously develop, test, and tune system prompts/instructions and few-shot examples; improve quality, token efficiency, and response latency through disciplined iteration.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to create organizational value by leveraging technology, data, and customer insights to reimagine products, accelerate outcomes, and foster continuous improvement. Own data/integration thinking end-to-end (source-to-target mappings, data contracts, reconciliation checks) to ensure solutions work reliably across systems and channels.
  • Lead quick and comprehensive discovery and usability testing; run rapid experiments (Minimum Viable Products/A-B tests) to validate assumptions and iterate based on quantified learning, including judicious use of AI-driven insights where appropriate and compliant. Use technical skills (SQL/analytics, light scripting, and firm-approved AI tooling) to quickly validate hypotheses, analyze funnels, and reduce time-to-insight.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies that drive focus, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team. Partner closely with engineers to break work into implementable slices, clarify edge cases, and resolve functional/technical ambiguities early. Own delivery velocity and quality; proactively remove blockers, align stakeholders for fast decision-making, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases. Communicate progress, risks, and upcoming priorities with candor and clarity; escalate decisively to clear constraints and keep delivery on pace; provide clear functional + technical risk framing (data quality, integration risk, performance, resiliency) to accelerate decisions.
  • Instrument features, analyze performance, and publish sprint/release outcome dashboards to drive ROI and data-driven decisions. Own and communicate a living, data-backed roadmap that sequences value and reflects market and customer insights, with relentless focus on speed to impact. Leverage AI responsibly to accelerate requirements, testing, and lightweight analysis—within governance and with human judgment to maintain quality and pace.
  • Drive innovation and act as a key change agent: champion new ideas, challenge legacy processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives that transform Home Lending. Bridge communication gaps between stakeholders and engineering by translating outcomes into system behaviors, integration needs, and measurable technical/non-functional requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager experience with proven, end-to-end ownership delivering material customer and business outcomes; clear evidence of compressing cycle time on complex products. Market and competitive analysis experience to identify differentiation opportunities and inform the roadmap with evidence-based insights.
  • Hands-on experience building agentic, LLM-powered applications end-to-end, including orchestration pipelines (tool use and agent workflows), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation of model outputs using practical quality/grounding frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build and scale agentic task-automation solutions (task agents) that eliminate manual work, streamline end-to-end workflows (including exceptions and handoffs), and deliver measurable business impact (e.g., cycle-time reduction, productivity gains, improved accuracy/quality, and higher CSAT).
  • Advanced product analytics capability; uses data to set targets, instrument features, and manage to outcomes; familiarity with AI/ML concepts and firm-approved tools to responsibly enhance discovery, prioritization, and customer experiences. Hands-on technical proficiency (e.g., SQL, light scripting/automation, and/or firm-approved “vibe coding”) to validate assumptions, analyze issues, and accelerate time-to-insight.
  • 3+ years of hands-on with JIRA/JIRA Align for backlog management and expertise leading agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) with measurable improvements to throughput and quality. Applied UX and solution design experience; proficiency with Figma and process-mapping tools to rapidly frame problems and prototype solutions with engineering/design partners.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to align engineering, design, data, and business partners; communicates priorities and progress crisply to maintain pace and technical acumen to engage on trade-offs and architecture for scalable, resilient solutions. Ability to bridge the functional/technical gap by turning business needs into functional specs and integration-ready requirements, and by performing lightweight debugging/root cause analysis to reduce delivery friction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
