AI Data Enablement Leader, Senior DirectorFitch Group is seeking an AI data enablement leader to join the Chief Data Office (CDO) in our New York or London office. As Fitch expands how we leverage data and AI for innovation and growth, this role will shape the CDO's strategy at the intersection of data and AI: ensuring Fitch's enterprise data capabilities evolve to meet the needs of AI, while identifying and driving opportunities to use AI to accelerate and improve how the CDO delivers data capabilities.
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will serve as the AI subject matter leader within the CDO, working across CDO teams, Emerging Technology, business AI teams and other partners to translate evolving AI needs into data strategy, requirements and priorities. You will help define and drive the capabilities, patterns and practices needed to make enterprise data AI-ready, including semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and ontologies to ensure trusted, governed and scalable use of enterprise data by AI applications and agents.
The successful candidate will combine strong knowledge of AI and modern data practices with the ability to translate them into practical enterprise capabilities and drive complex initiatives from strategy to execution, while operating across organizational boundaries.

We'll Count on You To:- Define and drive the CDO's AI data enablement strategy and roadmap, establishing how enterprise data capabilities must evolve to support Fitch's AI ambitions and where AI can accelerate and improve CDO data programs.
- Define and advance Fitch's approach to AI-ready data, including the capabilities and patterns needed to make enterprise data trusted, accessible, well-understood and usable by AI applications and agents, including machine-readable context and semantics.
- Translate enterprise AI needs into data requirements and priorities, partnering across CDO, Emerging Technology, Software and business AI teams to anticipate needs and embed them into relevant roadmaps.
- Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI across CDO data capabilities and processes, including data operations, data governance, master data management, and others.
- Lead targeted experimentation with emerging AI and data technologies, validating high-value approaches and establishing a path from proof of concept to scalable adoption.
- Serve as the AI subject matter leader and senior advisor within the CDO, staying current on emerging technologies and translating developments into practical implications, opportunities and recommendations for Fitch's data strategy.
- Partner with Data Governance, Emerging Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security and other stakeholders to ensure AI data capabilities appropriately address security, compliance, data rights, intellectual property and governance requirements.
- Own outcomes and execution of the CDO's AI data enablement agenda, establishing measurable objectives and providing clear visibility into progress, dependencies, risks and decisions.
What You Need to Have:- 10-15+ years of relevant experience across data and AI, including significant experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience designing or delivering AI-ready enterprise data capabilities, including semantic layers, knowledge graphs and ontologies.
- Strong practical understanding of modern AI technologies and architectures, including generative AI, large language models, retrieval approaches and agentic AI.
- Deep understanding of enterprise data capabilities, including data platforms and products, metadata, data quality, governance and modern data architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to translate AI use cases and emerging technologies into enterprise data, technology and operating-model strategies and requirements.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders and drive execution across organizational boundaries.
- Strong strategic, analytical and communication skills, combined with sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with technical partners and communicate effectively with executive and non-technical audiences.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay salary range for this role $190,000 - $240,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
