We are seeking to hire candidates for our AGM Revenue Development (E044).

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Revenue Development is a high-level executive position responsible for the strategic direction, maximization, and diversification of all SEPTA revenue streams. The AGM will design and execute an aggressive revenue strategy spanning traditional ridership fares, asset monetization, real estate development, and innovative public-private partnerships. The primary goal is to ensure long-term financial sustainability and capital growth for the authority.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Farebox Revenue Strategy: Oversee daily fare collection systems, pricing strategies, ridership analytics, and fare equity initiatives to optimize system-wide transit revenue.
  2. Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC/TOD): Lead initiatives for Transit-Oriented Development, collaborating with developers, municipal leaders, and stakeholders to transform SEPTA properties into high-yield, transit-connected community hubs.
  3. Asset Monetization: Direct the valuation, commercial leasing, and revenue optimization of physical and digital assets, including regional real estate portfolios, fiber optic networks, and cellular tower leasing.
  4. Institutional Sales: Expand enterprise revenue through the scaling of institutional pass programs (e.g., SEPTA Key Advantage), university partnerships, and large-scale corporate enrollment.
  5. Advertising & Partnerships: Manage the authority's advertising concessionaires, digital signage networks, naming rights opportunities, and corporate sponsorships.
  6. Public-Private Partnerships (P3): Identify, negotiate, and execute complex P3 agreements to fund infrastructure, capture value, and minimize capital expenditure risks.
  7. Innovation & New Streams: Serve as the chief incubator for modern revenue generation, exploring emerging technology markets, carbon offset credits, micro-mobility integrations, and data monetization.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate Development, Economics, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Extensive and progressively responsible executive-level management experience in leading large-scale revenue generation, commercial real estate development, or corporate finance operations. Must include a minimum of five (5) years of senior executive capacity managing diverse operational and maintenance departments.
  • Documented success managing multi-million-dollar budgets, executing complex commercial transactions, or structuring complex P3/TOD deals.
  • Proven track record of high-stakes negotiations with private developers, tech companies, cellular carriers, and government agencies.
