Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Agile Product Management Senior Advisor for the Morris Plains, NJ location responsible for overseeing the writing and modifying of complex technical functional requirements for a complex product, which are derived from the business needs and serve as the fundamental basis for our company's engineers' coding and implementation efforts, ultimately fulfilling the business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Offer leadership for Program Governance activities, including prioritization and negotiating with stakeholders regarding backlog priorities.
• Oversee the technical roadmap and non-functional requirements for company products, such as page rendering times, measuring the time it takes to log in to a service, and response on service calls.
• Collaborate with disparate business and financial groups to optimize the technological delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with agile teams to build and manage new features while delivering desired business impact.
• Create, evolve, and communicate feature area specifications that form cohesive, iterative plans that align to the long-term strategic plan known as the multi-release vision.
• Write Definition of Ready (DoR) user stories to effectively take the software application to development and then maintain a well-groomed backlog of code.
• Incorporate architectural changes recommended by software engineers into user stories to align with the needs of business stakeholders.
• Proactively resolve upstream dependencies and conflict effectively across teams.
• Advocate for process improvements.
• Monitor products for business outcomes and technology product health.
• Integrate and deploy tooling, such as Git and Jenkins, for the appropriate team.
• Test automation to ensure acceptance criteria is clear.
• Focus on reducing tech debt when the value of such debt can be quantified in efficiency and quality of product metrics.
• Hybrid Work Schedule.
• 10% domestic travel required for project meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Associate - Projects, Engineering Manager or related occupation.
• Requires experience: Within healthcare business/domain; Working on a client customized framework to accommodate client software specific requirements;
• Analyzing WFLs and corresponding COBOL programs in Unisys Mainframes using Emulator;
• Coding JCLs for corresponding analyzed WFLs and performing Unit Testing in IBM Mainframe environment; Using Datapower XML frameworks, Mule Enterprise Service Bus and Integrated Frameworks, DB2, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, REXX, and Mainframes;
• Performing Functional Studies, Requirement Analysis and Estimation, Analysis and Design, Technical Documentation, Conducting and Unit Testing, SIT support, UAT Execution and Support, and Project Deployment activities;
• Using CA Rally and JIRA Tools for Agile project methodology, user stories, tasks and process tracking; Supporting, troubleshooting and coordinating with onsite/offshore teams and Clients to clarify any design/programming issues;
• Tracking Application Development and Application maintenance projects in both SDLC and Agile Project Methodologies;
• Performing current state analysis of various data sources and legacy application flows; Creating project plans (MPP) for various project tracks, resources, estimations, effort, tasks and timeline tracking and status reporting;
• Providing inputs to Front End Java development team with details of existing programs and underlying tables for current and future state of the product;
• Maintaining technical and product roadmaps; Writing and executing complex SQL queries with SQL Assistant; Data warehousing using Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Data Gathering, Data Modeling, BI Reporting, CRUD, Data Flow design and documentation, Dashboard and Reports; and
• Using: Confluence, JMeter Benchmark Tool, Rx SIG Decode Tool, Generic Test Harness, SOAP UI, ETL, MS Visio, MS Project, CICS, IMS DB, Data Store, IBM Z/OS, ZDLC, UNIK, FACETS, TruProvider, File Manager, File Aid, SPUFI, Debugger, Xpeditor, Jenkins CI/CD, Kafka, MS SQL, MongoDB, Postgre, Teradata IW, Mainframe/AS400, Attunity, Hadoop, HTML, and XML/XSD Datapower-Mule services.
• 10% domestic travel required for project meetings.
Salary Range: $155,854-$193,600/year

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 116,200 - 193,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
