This is a producing Sales Manager role. You'll be expected to personally sell and contribute to agency production while also coaching, developing, and holding our sales team accountable for results. We're looking for someone who can lead by example-someone who knows how to prospect, uncover needs, overcome objections, ask for the business, and consistently follow up. Just as importantly, you need to be able to teach those behaviors and help other salespeople improve. What You'll Do Personally produce new business and maintain individual sales goals Lead, coach, and develop members of the sales team Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products Help team members improve prospecting, follow-up, objection handling, and closing Establish clear expectations and maintain accountability for activity and results Track individual and team production metrics Identify performance gaps and provide hands-on coaching Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of sales team members Help create strategies, incentives, and initiatives that drive agency growth Partner with the agent on overall sales performance and business objectives Who We're Looking For A strong salesperson and a leader Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals Competitive, disciplined, and highly accountable Confident coaching others and having difficult performance conversations Strong communicator who can motivate different personalities Comfortable using metrics to manage performance Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction Coachable and committed to developing as a leader Insurance or financial services sales experience strongly preferred Previous leadership experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Your compensation rewards both what you personally produce and what you help your team accomplish First 30 days: $45,000 annualized training salary Day 31 onward: $55,000 base salary Individual sales commission beginning day one Quarterly bonus based on qualifying sales team production Annual performance bonus opportunity Paid vacation and personal/sick time Health insurance after 3 months SIMPLE IRA with company match Licensing reimbursement after 3 months Professional development, outside training, and coaching Performance incentives and advancement opportunities Total compensation varies based on individual and team performance and is not guaranteed.
