What You Will Be DoingAs the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 4 you will be responsible for turning advanced aeronautics concepts into robust structural solutions that enable next-generation aircraft.

- Creation or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
- Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
- Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interacting with external IPTs and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in airframe structure design
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
- Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with aircraft structural repairs
Desired Skills- Experience with MRB coordination and support
- Experience with basic hand stress analysis
- Experience with sheet metal design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Experience with aircraft coatings and design
- Experience with composite design

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only.
