General OverviewNOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR'S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMPosition: Advisor, Operations QualityCompany: Celestica LLCLocation: Richardson, TXSalary: $129,792.00 per yearJob Description:Develop and maintain internal quality management system, procedures, work instructions and workmanship standards. Define the protocol on process and product to solve the problems using quality tools to include Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, 8D, Change Control Board, etc. Serve as subject matter expert and create learning content for quality tools used. Provide trainings, guidance and decision making for the team. Research advance technology and methodology to strengthen process and product quality control. Project manage the task force teams to overcome the challenges from product, material and process. Be a customer advocate when it comes to quality matters. Project manage the task force teams to handle all quality excursions independently and take effective actions on time. Oversee the product & material quality from NPI to production. Develop quality control plans specific to material, process, and product areas. Develop KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to meet quality, production and customer's expectations. Monitor and report quality KPIs for internal and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement to benefit the customer, CLS and suppliers. Project manage various audits, including industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC), compliance, and safety audits, as well as the resulting action items.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must have a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field, and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in:
- Quality tools, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and 8D methodology.
- Institute Printed Circuits and International Organization for Standardization requirements, including ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and IPC-A-640.
- Contract manufacturing.
- Utilizing Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Manufacturing and inspecting equipment used to support artificial intelligence applications, including fiber optic cables used for routing.
- Conduct functional testing using OpenTest and Agile methodologies.
- Generating and presenting data in reports utilizing Google Issue Tracker.
- Direct customer interaction, including successful customer service and account management.
- Data analytics, report generation, and presentation, including collecting/researching data, analyzing it, and presenting findings to key stakeholders in meetings.
- Electronic manufacturing test engineering.
Must have 2 years of experience in Project management, such as creating project charters, budgets, ROI analyses, and schedules of deliverables for a team of stakeholders.
International travel required up to 5%. Domestic travel required up to 10%.
