Responsibilities

  • Participate in patient assessments and develop treatment plans

  • Document and monitor patient care effectively
  • Ensure continuity of care through effective communication

Midlothian, VA - Seeking Hospitalist Advanced Providers

As an Advanced Provider, you play a critical role in our mission to improve lives in Hospital Medicine and are a valued member of the full care team. At Vituity we know the impact you can have.

The Opportunity
  • Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • Current national certification and DEA required.
  • Current VA state license is a plus.
  • Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is preferred.
  • 10-hour day shifts with rounding OR admitting responsibilities
    • Rounding shifts are in Observation Unit or Inpatient units
  • 1 out of 3 weekends


The Practice

Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center - Midlothian, Virginia
  • 185-bed hospital.
  • Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and STEMI Receiving Center.
  • Annual volume of 12,000 with an average of 20 admits per day and 10 admits per night.
  • No procedures required unless desired.
  • Onsite labs and imaging.
  • Variety of sub-specialty backup available including anesthesia, cardiology/EP, infectious disease, Heme/Onc, and more.
  • State of the art facility with recent bed expansion and renovation.
