The Opportunity - Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- Current national certification and DEA required.
- Current VA state license is a plus.
- Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is preferred.
- 10-hour day shifts with rounding OR admitting responsibilities
- Rounding shifts are in Observation Unit or Inpatient units
- 1 out of 3 weekends
The Practice Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center - Midlothian, Virginia - 185-bed hospital.
- Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and STEMI Receiving Center.
- Annual volume of 12,000 with an average of 20 admits per day and 10 admits per night.
- No procedures required unless desired.
- Onsite labs and imaging.
- Variety of sub-specialty backup available including anesthesia, cardiology/EP, infectious disease, Heme/Onc, and more.
- State of the art facility with recent bed expansion and renovation.
