- Lead Matrixed Integrated Product Teams (IPTs): Unify diverse groups of engineers, logisticians, financial managers, contracting officers, and operational testers. Foster an agile culture that cuts through bureaucracy without compromising oversight.
- Stand Up, Operate, and Sustain 76 SWEG SILs: Spearhead the stand-up, day-to-day operations, and long-term sustainment of System Integration Labs (SIL) across the 76th Software Engineering Group, providing the testing environments necessary for critical software and avionics.
- Ensure Platform Survivability & Rigorous Testing: Champion critical nuclear hardness testing and platform evaluation protocols, verifying that warfighter systems can endure and perform under the most severe operating conditions.
- Mitigate Risk & Hold Industry Accountable: Design and deploy proactive risk management frameworks. Oversee contractor execution, negotiate technical trade-offs, and safeguard the taxpayer's investment through diligent performance management.
- Advise Senior Leadership: Translate complex technical data, programmatic trade-offs, and contract trajectories into decisive recommendations for executive defense leadership and key stakeholders.
You Will Thrive in This Role If You Are:
- A Strategic Acquisition Leader: You understand how to navigate federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS and DoD 5000 series) while applying agile principles to deliver capabilities at the speed of relevance.
- A Matrixed Team Champion: You excel at orchestrating cross-functional teams, removing roadblocks, and building collaborative trust across military, civilian, and industry partners.
- Technically Adept & Systems-Oriented: You are confident working alongside technical experts in System Integration Labs (SIL), software testing environments, and specialized platform survivability domains like nuclear hardness.
- A Decisive Problem Solver: When schedule risks or supply bottlenecks emerge, you balance governance with creative problem-solving to protect baseline requirements.
- Dedicated to the Warfighter: You bring a sense of mission urgency, integrity, and dedication to safeguarding our nation's defenders.
