Full Job Description
Role Purpose
The Account Manager owns a portfolio of roughly 40 of LevelTen's existing North American client accounts - primarily renewable project developers, plus a set of energy buyers. Reporting to a Director of Account Management, the Account Manager manages day-to-day relationships for their accounts, keeps clients engaged with the LevelTen Platform, and supports the team's RFPs and bilateral engagements, market updates and renewals. The Account Manager ensures buyers and sellers are successful on the LevelTen Platform by guiding them and providing value through market insights. The role is focused on growing and retaining current accounts rather than new-logo prospecting.
This is a learning-and-growth role for someone early/mid in their renewable energy career. Over time, the Account Manager will take on direct ownership of more accounts and more complex engagements. As a fast-growing company in a quickly evolving industry, we are always learning and improving how we support our customers, and this role will help shape how the team delivers for both sides of the LevelTen Marketplace. Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Account Management
Nurture and expand relationships with a portfolio of renewable energy developers and energy buyers
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for client questions, routing requests to Transactions, Product and Client Services as needed
Run regular check-ins, market update calls and project pipeline discussions with clients
Collaborate with buyers to scope and launch demand signals (RFPs and bilaterals) across product types, including PPAs, VPPAs, BESS contracts and capacity supply agreements
Lead proactive outreach when market or policy changes affect clients' projects (e.g., tariff impacts on project timelines and contract milestones)
Drive platform adoption by onboarding new users, explaining LevelTen's offline products and services, and tracking usage
Demonstrate the value of LevelTen's services to buyers, developers and asset owners to drive robust participation in LevelTen products and marketplaces
Foster engagement by presenting transaction opportunities, leading educational demos and webinars, and attending (and occasionally speaking at) industry conferences
Represent buyer and seller perspectives in LevelTen's software and product design
Support client engagement KPIs and other leading and lagging indicators of how buyers and sellers use the Platform
Support and land renewals by preparing account reviews, usage summaries and renewal materials
Transaction Support
Support PPA transactions (RFPs, auctions and bilaterals), including notifying clients, providing updates, and sharing won/lost and report feedback
Encourage developer participation in appropriate RFP and bilateral opportunities
Guide buyers and sellers through deal execution alongside LevelTen's transaction teams
Help coordinate client analyses with the team's leads
Keep the team's RFP and market activity trackers current
Business Development
Spot and lead upsell and cross-sell opportunities across LevelTen's product portfolio
Sell value-based subscriptions for buyer- and seller-focused products and services, including PPA solutions and market intelligence
Help clients get full value from LevelTen's market intelligence products (e.g., PPA MarketPulse and market reports) and identify opportunities to expand their subscriptions
Work with Marketing and Business Development to keep clients engaged with campaigns, events and market insights
Contribute to LevelTen's industry thought leadership, including newsletters, white papers, webinars, social media and events
Operations & Team Support
Maintain accurate account, contact and opportunity data in Salesforce
Prepare client-facing materials, decks and meeting notes
Support team initiatives as roles and responsibilities evolve
