Full Job Description
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is seeking a strategic, high-performing Account Manager to join our New York team. This role is designed for a PR professional with 5-6 years of experience who has specifically focused on representing digital-first talent or creators.

As an Account Manager, you are the engine of your accounts. You don't just manage press-you architect narratives for digital natives who are expanding into film, TV, publishing, and venture capital. You are a self-starter who can navigate a brand launch and a high-level media junket with equal poise, maintaining total confidentiality while understanding the nuance of internet culture. Your media diet includes the trades like Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, but you are equally obsessed with The Information, Tubefilter, and Passionfroot.

The Role:

  • Holistic Creator Strategy: Lead 360-degree campaigns that treat creators as brands. You move beyond traditional PR to execute strategies involving digital content cycles, podcasting, brand-building, and literary or philanthropic endeavors.
  • >
  • Client Stewardship & Counsel: Serve as the primary daily point of contact for a roster of top-tier creators. You provide thoughtful, calm counsel during high-stakes launches, platform pivots, or crisis management situations.
  • >
  • Media & Platform Mastery: Leverage an established network of tech, lifestyle, and entertainment media to secure needle-moving coverage. You know how to translate creator metrics into stories that resonate with mainstream business and trade publications.
  • >
  • Talent Logistics & Leadership: Oversee complex schedules involving production shoots, appearances, and brand activations. You lead weekly client calls and ensure all logistics-from travel to technical requirements-are handled with military precision.
  • >
  • Integrated Creative Thinking: Brainstorm out-of-the-box pitch angles that bridge the gap between Internet Famous and Household Name. You are a thought-leader on how creators can successfully cross over into legacy media and beyond.
  • >
  • Content Excellence: Draft and edit sophisticated materials, including messaging frameworks, op-eds, and executive briefing notes. You ensure all content reflects the creator's unique digital voice while maintaining professional polish.
  • >
  • Mentorship & Team Coaching: Proactively train junior staff on the nuances of the creator space, from understanding TikTok trends to the etiquette of managing high-profile digital talent.
  • >
  • Growth & Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders on bi-coastal accounts and participate in new business meetings, helping to craft proposals for the next generation of digital icons.
  • >

Who You Are:

  • The Creator Specialist: 5-6 years of PR experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on representing digital-first talent or creators. You've successfully secured top-tier profiles that have shifted the industry's perception of a client.
  • >
  • High EQ: You possess an elite level of situational awareness. You have the executive presence to command a meeting with C-suite executives, but the judgment to navigate the personal and often sensitive nature of creator-led businesses.
  • >
  • Digitally Native & Culturally Fluent: You live on the pulse of social trends. You understand the "why" behind the algorithm and how platform-specific strategies (YouTube, TikTok, Substack) humanize and scale talent.
  • >
  • Meticulously Organized: You excel at managing the backend of accounts-from complex production schedules to partnership trackers-with zero margin for error.
  • >
  • The Relationship Standard: You understand that we are in a people business. You lead by example, prioritizing trust and integrity with clients, agents, and managers alike.
  • >
  • Driven to Over-Deliver: You take genuine pride in exceeding expectations and constantly strive to prove that creator representation is the future of the entertainment industry.
