Full Job Description
About the Role We're looking for an Account Executive to own the financial performance and the relationships for a defined set of carrier accounts. Reporting to our COO, you will be accountable for the P&L, the strategy, and the growth of your accounts. You will be the senior voice of RYZE to your carriers and the senior voice of your carriers inside RYZE. This is a senior business leadership role. The right person is equally comfortable in an executive conversation with a carrier, in the numbers behind an account, and in rallying our operating teams to deliver what was promised.
What You'll Do
Account and P&L Ownership - Own the P&L for your assigned carrier accounts, including revenue, margin, and overall profitability. - Build and execute an account plan for each carrier with clear financial and service targets. - Monitor financial performance and cost drivers, and take action early to protect margin. - Forecast revenue and volume trends, and report results and risks to executive leadership.
Executive Relationship Leadership - Serve as the senior relationship owner with carrier leadership, building trust at the executive level. - Lead regular business reviews covering service levels, quality, claims performance, and financial results. - Understand each carrier's strategy, guidelines, and expectations, and make sure they are built into how our teams work. - Own escalations through resolution and communicate clearly and proactively, including when the news is not good.
Retention and Growth - Build a retention plan for each account and address risks early. - Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the services, lines of business, and programs we support. - Lead renewals and contract negotiations in partnership with executive leadership. - Guide onboarding of new carrier programs by aligning Operations, IT, Compliance, and Finance.
Operational Partnership - Partner with Claims, Operations, QA, IT, Finance, and HR to align resources and deliver on carrier commitments. - Coordinate carrier audit and compliance requests with the right internal teams. - Bring carrier feedback to leadership and help shape improvements to process, service, and strategy.
What We're Looking For
Required: - 10+ years of account management, business leadership, or client executive experience. - Demonstrated ownership of a P&L, including revenue and margin accountability. - Proven track record of retaining and growing large client or carrier relationships. - Experience negotiating contracts and renewals. - Strong executive presence and the ability to present to senior stakeholders. - Financial acumen: you can read, forecast, and explain the numbers behind an account. - Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. - Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred: - Insurance, TPA, or claims services background. - Working knowledge of the property and casualty claims lifecycle. - Experience with service level agreements, carrier audits, or performance scorecards. - Experience onboarding new programs or clients.
What We Offer - Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. - Employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision coverage. - 401(k) with company match. - Generous PTO and paid holidays. - Fully remote, with optional hub access in Dallas or Tampa. - Real ownership of the P&L and relationships for your accounts. - A direct line to executive leadership and real influence on how RYZE grows.
