Full Job Description
As an Account Executive, you will be the face of our sales organization, owning the full sales cycle and selling our industry-leading data enrichment offerings through a consultative, value-based selling approach. Windfall's wealth data powers high-impact use cases across industries, helping companies identify high-net-worth customers, personalize outreach, strengthen loyalty programs, and grow their customer base at scale.

As an Account Executive on the Financial Services team, you will own new business generation within financial services enterprises - spanning wealth management, private banking, national and regional banking, insurance, real estate, and alternative investments. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying seller role: you'll build and run your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and channel/event engagement, apply consultative selling to FS-specific pain points and buying processes, partner closely with Solutions Engineering and Revenue Operations, and own negotiation, pricing, and closing through signature.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct account and prospect research and execute strategic, targeted outreach against a defined FS account list
  • Build and manage pipeline primarily through self-sourced, cold outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social), supplemented by industry trade shows/conferences and relevant online engagement platforms
  • Apply consultative selling to understand FS-specific pain points (e.g., data quality, compliance, prospecting/underwriting efficiency) and to position Windfall's solution accordingly
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Revenue Operations, and Sales leadership to run technical evaluations and structure deals
  • Develop and deliver pitch materials and research tailored across the full buying committee - from C-level and VP-level business executives (e.g., CRO, CMO, CFO, CEO, VP of Sales/Marketing) and senior data/technology leaders (e.g., Chief Data Officers, Digital/Innovation leaders) to mid-level marketing and line-of-business (LOB) leadership
  • Manage a full and accurate pipeline in Salesforce to consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Own deal negotiation, pricing, contract structuring, and closure, factoring in FS-specific procurement, security, and compliance review cycles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years at the Account Executive level, with consultative technology sales experience with a verified track record of exceeding quota
  • Extensive understanding of data and its many applications/use cases
  • Ambitious, driven, and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to remain focused in the face of many competing interests
  • Extensive experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating and multi-threading accounts, and building a robust pipeline
  • Extensive experience with sales tools - Salesforce, Outreach/Groove, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university
  • Experience selling in a high-growth startup environment
  • Solid understanding of the data businesses, paid marketing, and data analytics
  • Experience selling into financial services buyers, with vertical specialization in one or more of: wealth management, private banking, banking (national and/or regional), insurance, real estate, or alternative investments.
  • Understanding of CRM technology & APIs
