Account Executive - Enterprise Marketing Solutions

As an Account Executive at ISMG, you'll lead consultative sales conversations with senior marketers and business leaders at cybersecurity and enterprise technology companies. Your mission: uncover client needs, translate marketing objectives into tailored solutions, and build partnerships that deliver business results. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role focused on new business development and account expansion across the entire ISMG portfolio. We're looking for someone with direct experience selling B2B marketing services or digital media solutions who can confidently discuss target audiences, go-to-market priorities, campaign strategy, and performance measurement. You'll bring the marketing fluency to move beyond individual placements or sponsorships and develop broader programs aligned with each client's goals. What You'll Be Doing • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Prospect, qualify, lead discovery, develop proposals, negotiate, and close new business while expanding existing accounts. • Lead Strategic Discovery: Understand each client's target customers, marketing challenges, business priorities, budgets, buying process, and measures of success. • Engage Senior Marketing Buyers: Build relationships with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and leaders in demand generation, brand, content, and product marketing. • Sell Across the ISMG Portfolio: Connect client objectives with the right combination of digital media, content, demand generation, ABM, executive events, education, and CyberTheory services. • Develop Integrated Marketing Solutions: Partner with internal specialists to shape programs that support brand awareness, audience engagement, lead generation, and pipeline development. • Build and Grow Pipeline: Work from a curated target account list, supplement it with self-sourced opportunities, and execute consistent, tailored outreach. • Create Compelling Proposals: Develop presentations, proposals, and RFP responses that explain the recommended strategy, scope, value, and intended outcomes. • Expand Client Relationships: Identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional products, services, and longer-term marketing partnerships. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with CyberTheory, Client Success, Marketing, Editorial, and Event Production teams to align client expectations with delivery capabilities. • Manage Commercial Performance: Maintain accurate Salesforce records, forecasts, and next steps while taking ownership of revenue targets. What You Bring to the Table • 3-5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, including direct experience selling marketing services, digital media, demand generation, ABM, or integrated campaign solutions. • A track record of winning new business and growing accounts within a marketing services company, agency, B2B publisher, or comparable organization. • Strong working knowledge of B2B marketing: You can discuss audience targeting, buyer journeys, content strategy, campaign channels, lead quality, and how marketing programs support pipeline and revenue. • Experience selling to senior marketing decision-makers and navigating opportunities involving multiple stakeholders. • Ability to translate client objectives into tailored recommendations and clearly explain why a proposed solution fits their needs. • Proven success managing a quota, building pipeline, negotiating, and closing business. • Strong presentation and proposal development skills, with confidence articulating strategic and commercial value. • CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce, and disciplined opportunity management. • A collaborative, curious, coachable approach and the initiative to develop your territory. • Experience selling complex or enterprise marketing programs and familiarity with cybersecurity or enterprise technology are strong advantages. Why ISMG? • An established brand with strong relationships across the cybersecurity and technology industries • A broad portfolio that enables you to address multiple client priorities and build larger, integrated partnerships • Access to CyberTheory's marketing expertise and ISMG's global media, content, and event capabilities • Autonomy and ownership in how you build and grow your territory • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission • Ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities Ready to bring your marketing knowledge to a broader sales opportunity?
