You do not wait for a perfect brief. You ask the right questions, synthesize feedback from field teams and educators, and move forward with clarity.
- You have used simulation software in real applications, so when you write a tutorial or deliver a workshop, it comes from a place of understanding what breaks, what confuses people, and what clicks. You are organized enough to manage content development timelines across multiple universities and creative enough to make structural analysis feel approachable to a sophomore who has never opened Ansys Mechanical before.

What You'll Be Doing - Build curriculum materials for structural engineering disciplines including lectures, tutorials, learning pathways, assessment libraries, and certification programs that align with how engineering is taught today
- Work directly with professors, researchers, and student teams at universities to understand their goals, challenges, and workflows, then translate that into content and adoption strategies
- Develop content plans for assigned disciplines based on input from academic field teams, application engineers, business units, and direct feedback from educators
- Deliver training sessions, guest lectures, webinars, and workshops that teach educators and students how to apply Ansys Mechanical and LS-DYNA to real structural analysis problems
- Support the academic field sales team by strengthening relationships with universities, identifying opportunities to grow tool usage, and providing technical guidance on product application
- Represent Ansys at conferences, academic events, and webinars to grow adoption and gather feedback on how our education resources are being used in the classroom
- Stay current on pedagogical trends, educational technology, and structural engineering practices to ensure content remains relevant and effective

- Expand the reach of Ansys structural products in higher education, making them the default choice for teaching mechanics, dynamics, and structural simulation
- Contribute to a growing library of high-quality educational resources that support engineering education standards and modern teaching methods
What You'll Need - Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in industry or academia
- Demonstrated hands-on use of Ansys Mechanical and Ansys LS-DYNA, or equivalent experience with commercial simulation software for structural analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time for university visits, events, and workshops
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines
- A PhD in a structural engineering discipline is a plus
- Experience teaching, developing educational content, or working as a teaching assistant at the university level is a plus

The Team You'll Be Part Of You will join the Academic Program team, a group focused on driving technical engagement and adoption of Synopsys tools in universities worldwide. The team's work splits between two core activities: creating technical content that supports teaching and learning of electronics engineering topics, and delivering that content through workshops, lectures, training, demos, and direct support to educators, researchers, and students. Your work will be both creative and customer-facing, and you will collaborate closely with academic field sales, application engineers, and product teams across Synopsys.
In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details on the total rewards package upon request. The base salary range for this role is across the U.S.
