10594 - Finance Advisor
Location: Irvine, CA (5 days on-site)What you will be doing:
The selected Finance Advisor will be reporting to the Mgr, FP&A, and will serve as a key contributor to the organization's financial planning and analysis efforts. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining financial forecasts, leading the annual budgeting process, and overseeing budget coordination to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
The Finance Advisor works closely with leadership to design key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor business performance, and support strategic initiatives through data-driven financial insights. The role also includes financial oversight of IT Operation Services, promoting cost efficiency and ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines. Additionally, the Finance Advisor prepares internal and external financial reporting materials, supports the development and review of the Annual CBU budget, and conducts comprehensive analysis of financial results to enhance transparency and drive continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Financial Planning (40%)- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and annual budgets
- Coordinate budget planning across departments to ensure strategic alignment
- Prepare and present CBU budget materials and reconciliations
- Reconcile CBU billings and support related financial documentation
- Manage HAEA's financial cycle by preparing and distributing financial reports and analyses to leadership
Financial Analysis & Performance Management (40%)- Design and implement KPI frameworks to evaluate business performance
- Conduct financial and operational reviews using structured analysis tools
- Lead initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility of financial data
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts in support of financial analysis activities
- Develop ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Educate the organization on key financial review, reporting, and analysis processes
Reporting & Operational Support (20%)- Prepare internal and external financial reporting materials
- Oversee financial management of IT Operation Services
- Plan and implement process improvements within the Financial Reporting function
- Support cross-functional projects and business-related studies
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
What we require from you:
EDUCATION - Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Management Information Systems; MBA (preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE - Requires over 5 years of Financial Analysis experience; 2 years of IT Service Industry experience (preferred)
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE - Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organization skills; Expert level in Excel; Robust analytical skills; Large ERP (SAP) experience (preferred); Extensive experience financial reporting; Must be comfortable working with big and unstructured data and various ad-hoc requests and projects; Ability to work independently and in a team
CERTIFICATIONS - CPA and/or CFA highly preferred

Base Salary Range: $120,000-125,000
