Financial Analyst, FP&A to support financial planning, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives across the organization.
This role serves as a key partner to the FP&A team by delivering financial analysis, developing Power BI reporting solutions, supporting planning processes, and leveraging enterprise data to drive business insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with modern data and business intelligence capabilities and is passionate about improving decision-making through data, automation, and reporting excellence.
How You'll Contribute: Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and management presentations.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, profitability analysis, pricing evaluations, and business cases.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders and Finance team members to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Business Intelligence & Reporting - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.
- Create executive, departmental, and operational KPI reporting.
- Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions.
- Support development and governance of enterprise reporting standards and metric definitions.
Data & Analytics - Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, business opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Leverage enterprise data sources and data warehouse environments to support reporting and analytics.
- Utilize SQL and other analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support Finance, Product, Operations, and Executive Management.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.
Systems & Process Improvement - Support Adaptive Planning administration, reporting, and process enhancements.
- Assist with planning model maintenance, data integrations, and reporting improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline planning, reporting, and analytics processes through automation.
- Participate in Finance transformation and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to continuously improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities.
What Makes You a Great Fit: Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience - 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and data visualization best practices.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across Finance, Technology, and business teams.
Your Strengths & Expertise - Experience with Adaptive Planning.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Experience with reporting automation and business intelligence initiatives.
- Experience in financial services, lending, fintech, SaaS, or technology organizations.
- Working knowledge of ASC606
- Serve as a Finance analytics resource and Power BI subject matter expert.
- Bridge Finance, IT, and Data teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
- Improve reporting automation and reduce manual processes.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable business insights.

Recognizing Your Impact The starting salary range for this full-time position is $111800 - $135000 per year. We offer competitive compensation designed to recognize the value, experience, and contributions each team member brings to Origence. Base pay is determined by factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity, and eligible positions may participate in our annual bonus program.
