Position Summary
Summary: Assistant Nurse Managers assist with providing and integrating clinical leadership and management of a designated unit of patient care, consistent with the philosophy and goals of the institution, patient care service department, and clinical service; develops and sustains an environment of excellence in patient/family service, growth and development of staff, and application of evidence-based practice. The scope of practice encompasses the nursing process which is are cyclic, overlapping and interrelated through case finding, health teaching, health counseling and restorative of life and well being.
