Full Job Description
The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the data, reporting, and analytics function within the Working Capital Solutions (WCS) domain. WCS domain consists of Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance and Commercial Cards. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping the overall reporting and analytics strategy, defining and delivering scalable technical solutions, and selecting the most appropriate data platforms, reporting tools, and analytics technologies to support a broad range of business, regulatory, and operational use cases.

A strong functional understanding of working capital solutions is essential to effectively partner with and influence diverse stakeholders across product, operations, technology, and business teams. The role requires handson experience with industrystandard reporting and analytics tools, data warehousing concepts, and visualization frameworks, along with the ability to independently drive discussions with upstream source systems and downstream consumer platforms to ensure full endtoend data alignment, accuracy, and consistency.
You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, timely insights, and actionable analytics while balancing flexibility for evolving business needs. All significant architectural, data, and technology decisions must be reviewed and validated in close collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, longterm scalability, and regulatory expectations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience within a technology organization in the banking, financial services, or financial technology industries is required

  • 8+ years of work experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats

  • 8+ years of Application development experience on data platforms, leveraging structured query language (SQL), extract-transform-load (ETL) tools

  • Previous experience working in regulated industry and matrixed organization required

  • Candidates must have experience working in a technology organization within the banking, financial services, or fintech industries.

  • Experience in Working Capital Solution (WCS) domain prefered. WCS domain consists of Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance and Commercial cards

  • Cloud experience, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience with RDBMS based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server or NoSQL DBs such as DynamoDB.

  • Experience with monitoring systems

  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD principles

  • Knowledgeable in DevOps workflow tooling

  • Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

  • Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team

  • Ability to present information to wide variety of audiences including senior management

  • Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.

  • Facilitating in the integration of third-party services, applications and functionalities.

  • Lead in designing, developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure, and/or application frameworks

  • Monitor, test, analyze, and evaluate application performance; resolve issues and/or recommend improvements.

  • Provide guidance and technical instruction to junior level engineers.

  • Conduct needs analyses and requirements assessments, assess technical viability of products/technologies, contribute to development of business cases, and consult and make recommendations on technical solutions to meet specific business requirements

  • Consult on database development, database transaction management, and application integration for various systems or platforms.

  • Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry standards and protocols.

Other:

  • As per MUFG’s work policy for all personnel, candidates must work onsite for 4 days and 1 day remotely.

  • The typical base pay range for this role is between $140K - $205K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
