Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht of Advantia Health is looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our practices in Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Damascus, MD. We are seeking a WHNP with solid GYN experience as well as antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
Job Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Develops and implements patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required
- Current state licensure as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Maryland preferred)
- Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required
- DEA and CDS eligible
- 1+ years' experience working in the women's health field.

- Compensation Range: $105,000 -$136,500/year
