Warehouse Manager - Seattle, WA
What You'll Do:
You'll lead all aspects of warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution center, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, quality standards, and team performance exceed expectations. This role is about driving results through people, processes, and continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, compliant, and customer-focused operation.
In This Role, You'll:
• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, storage, shipping, and overall warehouse performance within a multi-temperature distribution environment
• Analyze operational and labor performance data to ensure productivity, quality, service, and inventory objectives are achieved or exceeded
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 45-50 associates through subordinate supervisors, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture
• Support hiring, training, employee development, performance management, and retention initiatives to build a motivated workforce
• Audit warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, availability, sanitation, security, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, HACCP, AIB, DOT, and food safety standards
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, control operating expenses, and oversee the maintenance and utilization of material handling equipment
• Partner with leadership, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams by providing operational reporting, business analysis, and support for strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring:
• 7+ years of progressive warehouse operations experience, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and shipping within a distribution center environment
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing warehouse teams in a fast-paced operation
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, warehouse racking systems, and food distribution practices
• Working knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, AIB, DOT, and other safety and regulatory requirements applicable to warehouse operations
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams while managing labor planning, performance, and employee engagement initiatives
• Experience managing budgets, controlling operational costs, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and problem-solving
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory control software, Microsoft Office applications, and AS400 systems preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Food service or food distribution experience is a plus.
The Schedule & Setting:
• Full-time, on-site leadership role within a temperature-controlled distribution center environment, including dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas
• Supports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, holidays, and business needs
• Leads warehouse operations focused on safety, inventory integrity, service excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement
• Responsible for managing warehouse personnel, operational resources, inventory controls, and facility performance
Pay & Benefits:
• Pay Range (Base Pay): $ 80,165.05 - $120,247
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
