The role:

You are a relationship-led Walmart ecosystem builder who knows how business gets done across Walmart, Sam's Club, and the Northwest Arkansas community. You bring deep knowledge of the Walmart environment, a trusted network of senior executive relationships, and the credibility to open doors, shape demand, and move opportunities forward.

You understand Walmart's strategic priorities, business challenges, and transformation agenda, and you can translate them into differentiated business and technology opportunities. You know how to connect client priorities with the capabilities of Accenture and strategic partners such as Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Adobe, and others.

You are an originator, not an order taker. You create opportunities before a formal demand exists, build compelling value stories, and align the right client, partner, and Accenture stakeholders around measurable outcomes for Walmart and Sam's Club.

The work

• Build trusted relationships across the Walmart enterprise - Cultivate senior executive relationships across Walmart and Sam's Club, while strengthening connections throughout the Northwest Arkansas business community.
• Create Walmart-specific demand - Proactively identify growth opportunities tied to Walmart's strategic priorities, business challenges, and transformation agenda, rather than waiting for established pipeline.
• Own origination from idea to qualified pipeline - Identify, qualify, shape, and advance complex opportunities, maintaining momentum from the first executive conversation through a clear path to investment.
• Activate the Walmart partner ecosystem - Bring together Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Adobe, and other strategic partners to create differentiated joint value propositions and accelerate opportunity development.
• Develop executive-ready business cases - Translate business challenges into clear value stories, measurable outcomes, ROI, and investment narratives that resonate with senior Walmart and Sam's Club leaders.
• Orchestrate one integrated team - Align account leadership, industry specialists, technology teams, and ecosystem partners around a shared client strategy, clear roles, and coordinated executive engagement.
• Represent Accenture in Northwest Arkansas - Serve as a visible, trusted advisor who connects local market relationships, Walmart ecosystem knowledge, and Accenture capabilities to create long-term strategic growth.

Here's What You Need:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution, technology, or services sales.

• Minimum of 8 years of sales-pursuit management experience across origination, shaping, and close.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, direct quota-carrying experience with a demonstrated record of consistently meeting or exceeding target.

• A demonstrated book of relationships and a track record of winning new logos in the emerging large-enterprise / upper-mid-market segment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If associate's degree, minimum 6 years' work experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Deep Walmart and Sam's Club experience - A strong understanding of the Walmart environment, its business priorities, and how decisions and relationships are navigated across the broader ecosystem.
• Established Northwest Arkansas network - Credible, trusted relationships with senior executives and ecosystem leaders who influence business and technology investment around Walmart and Sam's Club.
• Proven sales origination strength - A track record of creating, qualifying, shaping, and advancing large-scale opportunities from an early idea into meaningful pipeline.
• Retail and business transformation acumen - The ability to connect industry and client challenges to practical business outcomes, measurable value, and executive-level investment cases.
• Ecosystem co-creation capability - Experience working with strategic technology partners to develop joint propositions, coordinate executive engagement, and unlock new sources of demand.
• Executive influence and orchestration - The presence and collaboration skills to align multiple senior stakeholders, internal teams, and partners around a common opportunity and path forward.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
