Job DescriptionThe RoleThe
VP, Product will own the product roadmap and strategy for FIS's Enterprise
Fraud & Financial Crimes portfolio. The position will report to the SVP of Fraud & Financial Crimes and lead a team of product managers, each leading their own PM teams across the portfolio.
This is a role for someone who has built and run product at a fraud or financial crimes company - someone who knows what a modern, technically differentiated fraud roadmap looks like, has shipped it, and is ready to bring that standard to one of the largest financial technology platforms in the world.
What You'll Do- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Enterprise Fraud & Financial Crimes portfolio
- Set product strategy that reflects the full breadth of the portfolio. Your depth in transaction monitoring will raise the bar across the platform, but this role is not transaction monitoring alone, it spans the entire fraud and financial crimes stack.
- Partner directly with FIS's Data & AI product leads to define and drive the roadmap for proprietary fraud models, signals, and intelligence capabilities - a central pillar of FIS's platform transformation.
- Lead a senior product management organization spanning multiple product lines, providing clear ownership, strategic direction, and career development across the team.
- Drive enterprise architecture and product strategy to ensure the platform scales to support financial institutions of every size, configurable to diverse client needs while maintaining a coherent long-term vision.
- Engage directly with clients - from the largest global banks to community institutions - to validate priorities, understand needs, and surface outside-in perspective into the roadmap.
- Align cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, compliance, operations, and commercial to deliver coordinated product outcomes.
- Connect product decisions to business results - client adoption, revenue growth, fraud detection effectiveness, false-positive reduction, and measurable client outcomes.
What We're Looking For- A product leader who has built fraud products. You have owned a roadmap at a fraud technology company, a fintech, or a financial institution where product was the core discipline. You know what modern fraud product looks like because you have shipped it. A background leading fraud product strategy at a cutting-edge fraud or financial crimes company is highly valued, as is experience leading fraud product at a financial institution or payments company - provided you owned the roadmap, not solely operations.
- Deep transaction monitoring expertise. You understand the mechanics of rules engines, behavioral signals, and ML-based detection across cards and money movement. This is your strongest domain, and it shows - but you think in terms of the full portfolio, not just one capability.
- Experience building proprietary fraud models and signals. You have led the product side of building proprietary fraud detection models and signals: defining which data and signals matter, partnering with data science to develop and productionize models, and turning them into differentiated capabilities clients rely on. You treat models and signals as products, with their own roadmaps, performance metrics, and feedback loops.
- Breadth across the fraud and financial crimes stack. You understand end-customer authentication, identity, AML and financial crimes, and how these capabilities fit together into a coherent, enterprise-grade platform.
- Technical fluency. You do not need to write code, but you need to be the kind of product leader who gets into architecture conversations, challenges technical tradeoffs, and drives roadmaps alongside engineering and data science. You have managed technical teams and held them accountable to delivery.
- Commercial and enterprise orientation. You understand how to build products that serve large, complex enterprise clients and how product decisions translate to revenue, adoption, and client value.
- Executive presence and stakeholder credibility. You can operate at the client C-suite level and internally across a large, matrixed organization.
Nice to Have- Experience as a head of product or equivalent at a fraud technology company or fraud-focused fintech.
- Background leading fraud product at a financial institution or large payments company, with direct ownership of the product roadmap.
- Familiarity with integrated fraud and AML transaction monitoring platforms.
- Experience building or scaling AI, ML, or rules-based fraud detection products.
