Job Description
As Vice President of Specialty and Emergency Hospitals, you will be responsible for:
- Portfolio Leadership & Financial Performance
- Own the operational and financial performance of all Specialty & Emergency hospitals, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, and key performance metrics.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee hospital operations, implement best practices, and build scalable systems and regional leadership structures to support high-quality care and efficient performance.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing clinical and operational leaders, including Medical Directors and Regional Managers, while fostering accountability and strong hospital cultures.
- New Hospital Development & Expansion
- Lead the planning, development, opening, and successful ramp-up of new Specialty & Emergency hospitals in partnership with internal teams.
- Specialist Recruitment & Partnerships
- Build relationships with veterinary specialists, clinical leaders, and training programs to develop a strong pipeline of founding partners and key clinical hires.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, HR, and other corporate functions to execute growth initiatives, optimize hospital performance, and support long-term strategic objectives.
