About the Role

The Vice President of Information Technology is a senior executive responsible for setting and executing Monarca's enterprise technology vision. This leader will drive digital transformation, modernize systems, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure technology enables operational excellence, scalability, and value creation. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing IT organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Develop & execute an enterprise IT strategy aligned with Monarca's business objectives & growth agenda
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, recommending solutions that enhance capability, efficiency, and competitive advantages
  • Lead Monarca's digital transformation, promoting innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and business leaders on technology investments, risk mitigation, and digital enablement priorities
  • Lead IT due diligence, integration planning, TSA management, and synergy capture for acquisitions, partnering closely with the CFO and Business leaders
  • Drive modernization of Monarca's technology landscape, including ERP evolution, cloud adoption, data strategy, and workflow digitization

IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user computing
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance of all systems and applications
  • Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to SLAs


Cybersecurity & Data Governance
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices to protect organizational systems and data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards
  • Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility
  • Lead enterprise cybersecurity risk assessments and incident response readiness

Application, Data & System Development
  • Own enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, ERP roadmap, and technology platform decisions, aligned with CFO-approved investment priorities
  • Oversee selection, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, supply chain, commercial systems)
  • Lead or support development of custom solutions that meet business needs and scale with growth
  • Promote adoption of analytics, BI tools, and data-driven decision-making across the organization

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team with strong technical and leadership capabilities
  • Set clear performance objectives, provide coaching, and support professional development
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and project portfolios effectively
  • Maintain a structured operating rhythm including bi-weekly CFO touchpoints and ad-hoc reviews

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership & department heads on all technology-related matters
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency on IT strategy,
  • progress, and challenges
  • Partner with Operations, S. Chain, Sales, HR, & Finance to co-own automation, workflow digitization,
  • data strategy, and system integration initiatives that drive operational efficiency and EBITDA impact
  • Ensure IT solutions are aligned with business needs and deliver measurable value

Enterprise Governance & Reporting Structure
  • Reports directly to the CFO with accountability for enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity

  • Enterprise-Wide Influence - Operates as a cross-functional leader with Operations, Supply Chain,
  • Sales, HR, and Finance
  • Co-owns cross-functional digital initiatives, automation, and data strategy with business leaders

  • Owns enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, ERP roadmap, and vendor selection
