Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a VP Chiller Sales, Engineering & Aftermarket, Data Centers. This role is a home office-based role with proximity to a hub Airport for travel purposes. (Preferred: Major Data Center Markets such as Northern Virginia, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, Silicon Valley, or Remote)

Position Overview:

The Vice President, Chiller Sales, Engineering & Aftermarket is responsible for leading the overall commercial strategy, sales execution, engineering support, and business development initiatives for the company's data center cooling solutions business across North America. This executive role will report directly to the Senior Vice President and drive growth through strategic customer engagement, market expansion, technical leadership, and organizational development within the rapidly evolving hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and AI data center sectors. The VP will be accountable for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that positions the organization as a trusted cooling solutions provider for mission-critical facilities. This includes direct engagement with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, engineering consultants, design-build firms, EPC contractors, and mechanical contractors involved in data center development. This role requires a unique combination of executive leadership, deep technical expertise in chiller and cooling systems, strategic sales capability, and strong relationships throughout the data center ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for the data center cooling business.
  • Establish annual and multi-year revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and AI data center markets.
  • Lead strategic planning and business expansion initiatives.
  • Develop executive-level relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and technology developments.
  • Lead all sales functions associated with data center cooling solutions.
  • Achieve annual bookings, revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Develop strategic account plans for major customers.
  • Direct sales efforts involving: Hyperscale Operators, Colocation Providers, Cloud Service Providers, etc.
  • Lead executive negotiations on major projects and strategic agreements.
  • Improve sales effectiveness through process optimization, forecasting, and pipeline management.


  1. Engineering & Technical Leadership:


  • Provide executive leadership for all customer-facing engineering activities.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships throughout the mission-critical ecosystem.
  • Represent the organization at major conferences, trade shows, and industry associations while enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence future product roadmaps.
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.


  1. Project Management & Aftermarket:


  • Provide executive leadership for project management and aftermarket teams
  • Develop effective strategies to route products from factories to job-sites
  • Create detailed aftermarket and parts programs that meet critical timing criteria
  • Align with third -party technical support to provide seamless factor support


  1. Data Center Market Development:


  • Development strategic relationships with owners, developers, consultants, design firms, etc.
  • Build deep market intelligence with AI data centers, high density computing, liquid cooling, etc.
  • Represent LG at major industry events.


  1. Product and Technology Alignment:


  • Partner with Product Management to define future product roadmaps.
  • Influence development of new products
  • Provide direct voice-of-customer feedback.
  • Ensure products align with evolving data center standards.
  1. Organizational Leadership
  • Build and develop a high-performing organization.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain top talent.
  • Establish succession planning initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across all functional groups.
  • Promote a culture focused on accountability, innovation, and customer success.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of HVAC, applied equipment, or building systems experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering strongly preferred.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven record leading national sales organizations.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar revenue businesses.
  • Strong background in chiller systems and applied HVAC solutions.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including:
    • Direct data center industry experience.
    • Experience selling to hyperscale customers.
    • Experience supporting mission-critical facilities.
    • Experience leading both sales and engineering functions.
    • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.

Recruiting Range

$250,000-$325,000 USD
