Overview

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Vice President of Sales – National Accounts, you will lead Nextech’s national new-business sales strategy and execution, driving enterprise growth, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. This executive leadership role will shape the future of our sales organization by building high-performing teams, creating scalable processes, and leading the pursuit of strategic national account opportunities.

Develop and execute Nextech’s national new-logo sales strategy in alignment with company growth objectives
Lead, coach, and scale regional and national business development teams across multiple markets
Own pipeline creation, quality, coverage, velocity, and conversion across the organization
Establish pipeline generation expectations by salesperson, market, region, and vertical
Build and enforce a consistent, data-driven sales methodology covering prospecting, qualification, forecasting, opportunity management, and closing
Personally engage in strategic enterprise opportunities and cultivate executive-level customer relationships
Drive achievement of a $100M+ annual national account new-business sales target
Lead customer acquisition efforts from target identification through contract execution and transition to Account management
Partner with executive leadership on go-to-market strategy, pricing, service positioning, and growth initiatives
Collaborate with Marketing to optimize lead generation, improve MQL-to-SQL conversion, and increase full-funnel performance
Ensure strong alignment with Account Management and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, budget planning, and sales performance analytics
Implement tools, systems, and best practices that improve efficiency, accountability, and scalability
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to guide strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven success building and leading high-growth new-business sales organizations
Demonstrated track record acquiring net-new enterprise customers and expanding market share
Experience consistently achieving or exceeding large-scale sales goals comparable to a $100M+ annual sales organization
Significant experience leading complex, consultative B2B sales cycles with national or multi-site customers
Proven ability to build, manage, and maintain robust sales pipelines
Experience leading regional and national acquisition teams, including National Account Business Development Managers
Demonstrated success driving competitive displacement and revenue growth
Expertise implementing measurable sales methodologies, forecasting processes, and performance inspection cadences
Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and business performance management
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, sales analytics, and KPI management
Strong negotiation, pricing strategy, and revenue growth planning experience
Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and drive accountability through change and growth
Excellent executive presence, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel capabilities
Willingness to travel as needed to support business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other related master’s degree
Previous HVAC, facilities services, commercial services, or related industry experience
Experience within high-growth or transformational organizations
Prior partnership with executive leaders across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success functions

Physical Requirements

Regularly work in an office environment and operate standard office equipment
Continuously use a computer, telephone, and related technology tools throughout the workday
Ability to sit for extended periods, with the flexibility to alternate between sitting and standing as needed
Occasionally lift and move items up to 15 pounds
Regularly communicate, hear, and exchange information effectively with customers, employees, and business partners
Occasionally walk, reach, bend, carry, push/pull, kneel, or crouch while performing job-related activities
Ability to travel as needed to support customers, teams, and business initiatives
