Your Mission:Your mission is to cultivate relationships and execute complex transactions with strategic capital partners. You will drive Inspiration's optimal capital formation, lower our cost of capital, and oversee efficient post-execution management as financing facilities are put into place and deployed to support Inspiration's growth strategy.

Chief Financial OfficerKey Responsibilities: - Lead capital formation by designing and pursuing optimized, cost-efficient sources of capital, including asset-backed debt, corporate working capital financing, project equity, syndications, securitizations and ESG/Impact-focused capital
- Serve as the primary interface with financing counterparties, identifying and building relationships with new financing partners and providing transparent, consistent communication and reporting that meets institutional expectations
- Structure and execute complex financial transactions - negotiating pricing and terms, managing due diligence efforts, and overseeing end-to-end transaction workflows
- Develop sophisticated financial models and analyses supporting capital formation, deployment decisions, and investor pitches
- Design and improve internal processes and systems related to managing and funding transactions, and manage transaction documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements with high attention to detail and institutional standards
- Collaborate closely with other teams at Inspiration involved in deal flow, transaction underwriting, and asset management, including but not limited to: Legal, Fleet Sales, Underwriting & Risk, Customer Success, Fleet Operations and Energy
- Provide financial and analytical expertise across the Inspiration organization
Who You Are: - 10+ years of experience, with 7+ years of directly related experience in capital raising and structuring roles and 3+ years of people leadership or executive management experience
- Superb modeling and quantitative skills, including deep knowledge of structured finance, financial mathematics, and sensitivity analyses - comfortable developing and explaining financial engineering, structuring and pricing concepts
- Experienced executor of structured transactions; you've navigated asset-based lending, warehouse facilities, securitizations or comparable capital structures from inception through closing
- Sophisticated communicator who can distill complex financial concepts for both technical stakeholders and institutional partners; earning trust through clarity and precision
- Proven origination capability, having successfully sourced deals or capital partners in other contexts

Compensation: $170,000 - $235,000 + annual bonus eligible
Location: Washington, D.C. Our in-office team works from our Dupont Circle office Tuesday through Thursday. Remote work on Mondays and Fridays is voluntary, and employees are welcome to work from the office if they'd prefer.
