Macquarie Capital's Specialty Finance investment banking team is an established leader in M&A, private capital raising and asset-based finance advisory to clients in commercial finance, transportation leasing and consumer finance. The team has advised on 13 closed transactions representing more than $7 billion in transaction value since 2025. Given our strong momentum and active execution pipeline, we're seeking an experience investment banking vice president to join our team in New York. Our team is highly collaborative and tight-knit, focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients across a dynamic and evolving market.

In this role, you will lead the execution and support the sourcing of transactions across a range of specialty finance sectors. You will work closely with clients and contribute to relationship management, business development, and marketing initiatives. You will apply your understanding of specialty finance businesses, valuation, and financial modeling to deliver high-quality analysis and insights on highly strategic, bespoke transactions. - Investment banking experience within the financial institutions industry, with an understanding of valuation and financial modeling
- Strong ability to lead execution of our transactions across M&A, private capital raising and forward flow funding arrangements
- Experience contributing to client coverage, business development, and marketing activities
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines, as well as manage and train junior team members
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional work ethic, and a collaborative approach to teamwork and excellence
Salary range for this position: $260,000 - $275,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
