OWN YOUR SUCCESS.SOME LEADERS MANAGE THE SCOREBOARD.You build the team that changes it.DuraServ is looking for a Vice President, Sales & Service who drives performance through people, process, and operational discipline - not a personal quota.
This Is an Operator's Role.At DuraServ, a branch is a business within a business. It has a P&L. It has a sales team, a service team, a customer base, and an operational infrastructure that has to perform every single day. Running it well requires someone who thinks like an owner - not a salesperson waiting to close the next deal.
The VP, Sales & Service in this role leads from the top of the branch - setting direction, developing people, managing financial performance, and ensuring that sales execution and service delivery operate at the standard DuraServ expects in every market we serve. You don't carry a personal quota. You carry the branch.
If you've built something before - a team, a culture, a P&L that moved in the right direction because of the decisions you made - this is where that experience belongs. What You'll OwnBranch Performance- Manage overall branch operations - sales execution, service delivery, staffing, training, inventory, facilities, and financial controls
- Monitor and drive branch financial performance to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets - you own the P&L, the forecast, and the outcome
- Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the branch and participate in budget development with regional leadership
- Maintain and apply current knowledge of markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors to keep the branch positioned to win
Sales & Service Leadership- Directly lead the branch sales team - setting targets, coaching performance, and building a culture of accountability and results
- Lead quoting, scheduling, and job execution to ensure service work and projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope
- Build and manage customer relationships that drive satisfaction, retention, and growth - you are the senior relationship owner for the branch
- Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across branch operations, including routine field and warehouse audits and corrective action follow-through
People Development- Lead the service team through subordinate managers and directly develop the sales professionals under your leadership
- Coach and develop the team on technical skills, sales skills, and professional standards - you raise the floor and the ceiling
- Ensure staffing levels, training cadence, and performance management practices keep the branch operating at full capacity
Who We're Looking ForWe're not looking for the top sales rep who wants to move into management. We're looking for the leader who already thinks in terms of systems, teams, and outcomes - not personal production.
- A proven operational leader with experience running a P&L - you understand the relationship between sales execution, service delivery, and financial performance
- A developer of people - you've built teams, coached underperformers, and created cultures where accountability and results are the standard, not the exception
- A sound business decision-maker - you use market knowledge, financial data, and customer intelligence to make calls that move the branch forward
- A customer relationship leader - you engage at the senior level, resolve escalations, and set the tone for how the branch treats every account
- Operationally fluent - comfortable managing inventory, facilities, scheduling, and compliance in a multi-function branch environment
- An excellent communicator - across your team, with customers, with vendors, and with regional leadership above you
- 5+ years of combined B2B sales and operational leadership experience, with a background in industrial or distribution services required
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
- Previous experience managing sales professionals is strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required - field presence with your team and customers is part of this role
What's in It for You- Competitive base salary + performance incentives tied to branch results - your compensation reflects the branch you build
- Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance plans, and 401K with company match
- Company-provided life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- My Personal Health Assistant program
- Continuous training, professional development, and a clear path to regional leadership for top performers
- National infrastructure with local ownership - you run the branch with the backing of a proven organization
- Employee discount programs through DuraServ's corporate partnerships

If you've led teams that performed because of the culture you built, the standards you set, and the people you developed - that's exactly what this branch needs.
If you're the kind of leader who walks into a branch and immediately sees what needs to change, who needs coaching, and what the path to better performance looks like - we built this role for you.
