Qualifications

• 7+ years of private equity real estate accounting experience
• Familiarity with complex fund structures and foreign currency hedging
• Knowledgeable about REIT rules and tax implications
• Experience working with third-party fund administrators
• Background in 'fair value' accounting
• Understanding of debt agreements and their implications
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Skilled in interpreting limited partnership agreements and mortgage contracts
• Experienced in reporting to institutional investors
• Familiar with filing requirements in Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, and Jersey
• Strong communication skills in cross-location teams
• Ability to multitask under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead GAAP-compliant financial reporting for property and fund-level entities
• Manage and review deliverables from fund administrators, ensuring compliance
• Coordinate global audit, tax, and regulatory filings with external parties
• Act as primary accounting contact for lenders and investors, handling compliance reporting
• Prepare and present accounting and budgeting matters to senior management
• Oversee forecasting, cash flow planning, and fund return calculations
• Interpret complex financial documents to calculate investor returns
• Enhance internal controls and compliance procedures for scalable operations
• Develop new processes to automate financial reporting functions
• Collaborate with portfolio company accounting teams for reconciliations
• Assist with valuation model inputs and communicate with deal teams
