Full Job Description
Overview:

This new hire will join Texas Capital's securitization and structured finance platform, overseeing transactions across residential mortgage, consumer, commercial, and specialty asset classes. This individual will be responsible for originating and executing warehouse and capital markets securitization transactions, collaborating with corporate banking and treasury partners, and building long-term client relationships. Texas Capital's securitization group covers a comprehensive range of asset classes:

  • Residential: Non-QM mortgages, HELOCs, rental-to-lease programs, home equity investments, and single-family properties
  • Consumer: Personal loans, credit cards, auto loans, student loans, home improvement financing, and related consumer credit
  • Commercial: Equipment financing, small business lending, fleet leasing, energy assets, digital infrastructure, and franchise financing
  • Esoteric: Media rights, insurance contracts, litigation finance, and other specialized securitizations


Responsibilities:

  • Originate and lead execution of securitization and structured finance transactions across diverse asset classes
  • Execute transactions in primary and secondary securitization markets, including public/144A issuances, private placements, forward flows, warehouse financing, repo transactions, and trading activities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Texas Capital's banking coverage teams and external clients to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders across sales & trading, credit, legal, risk, operations, and treasury to ensure superior execution
  • Build and maintain comprehensive cash flow models; develop and validate collateral performance assumptions; conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support rating agency submissions and investor materials
  • Establish consistent underwriting standards, risk discipline, and execution excellence across the platform, including balance sheet deployment
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of junior bankers focused on origination and execution


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of securitization structuring experience (ABS and/or RMBS) at a bank, broker-dealer, accounting firm, or private credit firm
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related quantitative field
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple asset classes (residential mortgage, consumer loans and leases, commercial finance, and/or esoteric securitizations)
  • Deep understanding of securitization structures, rating agency methodologies, investor requirements, and secondary market dynamics
  • Strong negotiating skills and sound judgment in balancing risk, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder interests
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to develop client presentations, investor materials, and internal credit memorandums
  • Advanced financial modeling proficiency in Excel and INTEX, including investor sensitivities, rating agency methodologies, and warehouse credit analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, AI tools, and Bloomberg analytics preferred
  • CFA candidacy or CFA charterholder status preferred
