Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Division Vice President (DVP) of Operations for the PAC Business Unit will work closely with the Business Managers, other business unit functional leaders, manufacturing site leaders and the division operations and supply chain team to facilitate success within the operations, supply chain and logistics functions of the P&AI Division. This role will be responsible for the development and coordination of business unit operation strategies and policies and will work with the BU Management on initiatives that will facilitate improved operational performance. Additionally, this role will participate in annual strategy, operations reviews, and budget presentations to executive management, and will lead the operations due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions made by the PAC business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all manufacturing operations across PAC's global sites, including facilities in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Northern Ireland, the Netherlands, France, and China.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, aligned with PAC's long-term business objectives.
  • Work with the business:
    • The development strategic operational initiatives that facilitate achievement of monthly shipment, profit, and working capital forecast and annual budgets.
    • The development and implementation of operational efficiency and cost improvement plans.
    • Drive standardization and optimization of operations systems and processes across all manufacturing sites.
    • The evaluation of operational footprint
    • Support low cost sourcing initiatives
    • The development of annual operational and capital budgets
  • Development and reporting of operational KPI's
  • Lead operations due diligence and integrations activities for acquisitions.
  • Participate in annual strategy, regional operations reviews, and budget presentations to executive management.
  • Work with Human Resources on programs to attract, retain and develop operations talent.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Business Unit Manager.


Professional Qualifications/ Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within operations in an Electronics and/or Electro-mechanical manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated success in relocation of operations as well as low cost sourcing exposure preferred.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to set vision and strategy for Operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to executives and managers.
  • Strong knowledge of Business System processes
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems
  • Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
  • History of hiring, developing, growing, motivating, and mentoring operations talent.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills and experience working with internal computer system.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
