Position at Fireside

The Vice President of Sales for Fireside will be a critical member of the leadership team who will lead the transformation of our business unit to a customer-driven, industry-leading sales organization capable of achieving breakthrough unit volume growth. They will be responsible for leading sales teams across all U.S markets and drive results through standardized structure, process, and systems to unlock the full potential of Fireside. This requires a strong sales executive to build and execute the winning plan that will create consistency and alignment across the sales organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the business unit sales strategy and growth playbook to accelerate sustainable unit volume growth and strengthen market position
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sales leadership team to create a culture of winning, accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and data-driven decision making
  • Lead the transformation to a unified sales operating model with clear roles, consistent processes, disciplined management routines, and effective local execution
  • Translate housing trends, builder economics, customer insights, and channel dynamics into segmentation, coverage, account, and resource allocation decisions
  • Build sales operations and enablement capabilities that improve CRM functionality, pipeline visibility, forecasting, analytics, training, tools, and seller productivity
  • Strengthen relationships with key builders while partnering across the business to improve the customer experience and align growth priorities
  • Establish meaningful performance measures and operating rhythms that improve decision-making, execution consistency, and accountability

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant sales experience including B2B selling/account management and navigating complex organizations; preferably in the new construction industry calling on home builders
  • 7+ years leading sales in a large, geographically dispersed sales team
  • Builder, construction, building products, distribution, home improvement, or related B2B experience preferred
  • Experience building sales operating systems, including CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, analytics, segmentation, and sales enablement
  • Experience partnering across a matrixed organization
