Full Job Description
Vice President of Sales for their Global Energy Infrastructure (GEIS) business. This position can be based in any Eaton hub location or be fully remote.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the President, Americas, Global Energy Infrastructure (GEIS) business, and the Sr Vice President Sales Electrical Sales Americas, the Vice President will support a $2B business with 2,500 employees in NA. The VP will lead a team of 8 direct reports (including 5 Regional VP's); with a total team of 125 employees.

The VP will define and drive execution of the sales strategy for the Americas business. This person will identify new business opportunities, innovation and solutions which drive revenue growth. This person will also focus on yearly sales targets, industry leading market position and year over year growth plans by analyzing territory and customers to develop and execute regional strategy plans across the GEIS portfolio.

Essential Functions:
• Achieves current year sales targets, industry leading market position and year on year growth plans by analyzing territory and customers to develop and execute a specific and actionable region strategy plan across the GEIS portfolio.
• Builds alignment of the GEIS region strategy to Eaton segment strategies with an articulated communication and executable roadmap. These strategies will effectively translate political, industry, customer, and competitor dynamics that will be aimed at a sustainable competitive advantage for Eaton.
• Develops and executes a regional customer engagement strategy consisting of user groups, conferences and other promotional activities to drive customer relationships across the region.
• Collaborates with Sales Channel Leadership to evaluate, establish and maintain a network of independent sales agents and distributors to provide total coverage for all products and services offered.
• Builds relationships with 3rd party sales agents as an extension of the selling team to drive deep penetration of the GEIS products into the market while simultaneously negotiating terms & conditions that create win-win solutions for both the agent and Eaton.
• Executes and communicates a compelling strategic value proposition through sales agents, distributors, specifiers, and end users.
• Develop senior level relationships at our key customers. Leads/supports key strategic commercial negotiations - achieving the interests of customers and Eaton stakeholders.
• Amplifies NPI sales by leveraging the VOC to create value proposition when the products are introduced into the market.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of sales or marketing experience with electrical distributors
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management
• Management of direct team and/or agents and senior-level sales talent
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
