The Vice President Human Resources will work out of the Walnut Creek, California office

The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the organization's human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company. This role oversees all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and evaluate legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization
• Maintain expert knowledge of employment laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging trends in human resources, talent management, and workplace technology
• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and direction to four Regional Human Resource Managers
• Lead executive-level recruitment efforts for General Managers, corporate support team positions, and hotel leadership roles
• Research, design, and implement competitive compensation structures, employee benefits programs, performance appraisal systems, and employee incentive initiatives
• Oversee administration of compensation, benefits, leave management, talent development, succession planning, and annual Open Enrollment processes
• Serve as the primary resource for complex employee relations matters, human resources concerns, benefits questions, and organizational challenges
• Partner with senior leadership to align people strategies with operational and business objectives
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the organization

The total compensation pay range is between $185,000 - $215,000 per year.
