Vice President, Full Stack Engineer

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our Liquidity and Margin Platform and Engineering team. This role is in Pittsburgh and New York.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design, develop and support enterprise-scale distributed applications.
• Build modern cloud-native and event-driven services supporting critical banking capabilities.
• Develop applications, REST APIs, backend services, and data integration components.
• Modernize legacy capabilities into scalable microservices without impacting business continuity.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects and SMEs to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technology selection.
• Leverage AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Design highly available, resilient solutions capable of supporting 24x7 business operations.
• Drive engineering best practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across global teams.
• Collaborate with teams across the UK, US and India.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:

• Bachelor9s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred.
• 5 plus years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ or messaging technologies.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee9s eligible dependents.
