Lead the selection and end-to-end implementation of a scalable ERP (such as NetSuite), moving 1X off legacy systems and connecting billing, payroll, inventory, and procurement to one financial core.
Build the accounting policies and internal controls that produce clean external audits, meet public-company reporting standards, and support tax and international compliance.
Deliver clear financial reporting and technical accounting guidance to the executive team and the Board of Directors.
Build and lead a global accounting team across our US headquarters and international entities, using automation and AI tools so the team scales faster than its headcount.
Key Competencies

Systems builder: designs processes and systems that still work at ten times today's volume.
Team builder: hires, develops, and holds a distributed team to a high standard.
Clear communicator: turns financial data into plain, actionable messages for leaders outside finance.
Speed with discipline: keeps controls tight without slowing the company down.
Minimum Requirements
12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership, including time as Controller or VP Finance at a high-growth venture-backed company or a public technology company.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA license.
Proven track record of leading at least one end-to-end ERP implementation (NetSuite, Workday, SAP, or comparable) in a high-growth environment.
Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP, multi-entity international consolidation, and corporate tax structures.
Experience managing distributed accounting teams across multiple countries.
Proven track record of scaling a finance function through major funding milestones such as Series B and later rounds or debt facilities.
Demonstrated ability to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable messages for the executive team, the Board, and leaders outside finance.
Preferred Skills
Experience with equity administration and stock-based compensation accounting in Carta, in partnership with HR and Legal.
Exposure to automation and AI tools in accounting workflows.
Experience in building SOX-ready controls or public-company reporting processes.
