Compensation: $190,000 - $220,000

The Opportunity

The Vice President, Business Technology is a strategic senior leadership role responsible for enabling organizational capability through technology, information, enterprise systems, and digital services.

Reporting to an Executive Principal, and working closely with operational and function leaders across the organization, this role ensures RJC has the systems, infrastructure, information, governance, and technology capabilities necessary to support operational excellence, informed decision-making, effective collaboration, and sustainable growth.

The leader in this role will serve as both a strategic advisor and operational leader, helping ensure that technology investments deliver meaningful business outcomes while supporting RJC's long-term vision.

A critical component of this role will be the ongoing stewardship, optimization, governance, and evolution of RJC's enterprise business systems, including the firm's ERP platform. The successful candidate will help ensure these investments continue to strengthen business processes, improve data quality, enable organizational effectiveness, and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a Business Technology strategy aligned with RJC's purpose, vision, and long-term priorities, ensuring technology investments strengthen operations, employee experience, client value, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Provide strategic leadership that builds a high-performing, innovative, service-focused team and strengthens connection across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business and functional leaders to champion organizational change and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including analytics, automation, and AI, that deliver positive business outcomes.


Governance, Risk, and Resilience

  • Establish and maintain a business technology governance framework, including policies, standards, and data governance practices, to ensure the integrity, security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance of organizational information and business systems.
  • Set direction for cybersecurity and infrastructure risk management, ensuring gaps are identified, prioritized, and addressed.
  • Direct business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology resilience planning to ensure uninterrupted operations and effective risk mitigation.


Business Partnership & Enterprise Systems

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering across the organization to understand needs and translate them into scalable technology solutions that enhance productivity and support business objectives.
  • Provide executive-level leadership for RJC's ERP platform and enterprise business systems, including governance, optimization, integration, reporting, and future evolution, ensuring systems, data, and knowledge management support effective processes, decision-making, collaboration, and growth.


Operational Oversight, Team & Stewardship

  • Oversee the delivery and performance of technology infrastructure, applications, and services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and service metrics to measure operational effectiveness, project outcomes, and team performance.
  • Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor and contract management, and financial stewardship to optimize the value of technology investments across the organization.


Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in business technology, enterprise systems, business operations, or related fields, including 6+ years leading enterprise technology functions and organizational change.
  • Proven experience overseeing ERP platforms and enterprise business applications through implementation, stabilization, optimization, governance, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong ability to align technology investments with business strategy, operational effectiveness, employee experience, client value, and measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, data governance, enterprise architecture, information management, and emerging technology enablement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
