Small Animal Internist Wanted for Independently Owned Veterinary Referral Center
Our referral practice is excited to expand our services to Small Animal Internal Medicine! We are seeking a motivated, talented, experienced individual who is excited about growing the practice and expanding their own skills and knowledge base. You will have the opportunity to develop the Internal Medicine Service and work alongside Oncology, Surgery, and Emergency veterinarians. You will be given the chance to obtain the equipment of your choosing and to actively participate in setting the ground for how specialty care is provided in the future.
We are a young, rapidly growing practice, and in 18 months we have exceeded expectations in providing excellence in patient care and referral services to clients and veterinarians in the Greater Houston area. As a result, we are answering the demand for full-time Veterinary Internist as part of our expertise. We have a detail-oriented group of fun-loving technicians that excel in client communication, patient care, and empathy and are supported by an experienced Emergency team that operates after hours and on weekends.
We are in the greater Houston TX area. Houston is one of the largest cities in the USA, has an attractive cost of living, and provides the opportunity to enjoy internationally recognized amenities such as the medical center, NASA, professional sports teams and restaurants. We are within an easy drive from island life on Galveston Island (https://www.galveston.com/10-reasons-you-should-get-on-island-time/) where family time, fishing, and relaxation can be an alternative to the city.
We offer competitive compensation, and excellent benefits which include health, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, 401(K), paid time off, CE allowance, and paid membership fees. The ideal new member of our team will be a Board-Certified Surgeon or have completed your residency with the plan to become certified within the year.
