The Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard (ASEC) is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing specialty team in Melbourne, Florida.
Located just minutes from Florida's beautiful Atlantic coastline, ASEC is a well-established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital serving Brevard County and the surrounding region. Our collaborative team includes a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Surgery, a board-certified Veterinary Dentist, experienced Emergency Clinicians, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and an experienced support staff committed to helping specialists practice at the highest level. Surgeons benefit from skilled technical assistance, strong emergency support, and a culture of teamwork that prioritizes exceptional patient care.
Our hospital is equipped with advanced technology and diagnostics, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy/thoracoscopy, arthroscopy, electrodiagnostics, ventilatory support, advanced rehabilitation services, and a full in-house laboratory. Surgical resources include three dedicated surgical suites, a Stryker arthroscopy tower, Synthes battery drive system, TPLO equipment, and a comprehensive selection of orthopedic implants.
