Veterinary Anesthesiologist! We are a busy multispecialty referral hospital supporting 9 surgeons and multiple other specialties. There is a team of dedicated anesthesia techs in support of that area. The anesthesia team enjoys support of excellent equipment including ultrasound for nerve blocks, ventilators, and a multimodal approach to anesthesia.
As a
Veterinary Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in our hospital by:
- Designing and overseeing customized anesthetic protocols for a variety of complex cases.
- Providing pain management strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Proficiency in monitoring and managing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and critical cases
- Collaborating closely with our surgical, internal medicine, and emergency teams.
- Training and mentoring clinicians and technicians to advance anesthesia best practices.
- Enhancing patient outcomes by ensuring the highest level of anesthetic safety and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent)
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
- Expertise in anesthesia protocols, pain management, and perioperative care
