Wilkes County Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) - Mixed Animal Associate to join our growing team in beautiful Washington, Georgia.

What You'll Do & Who You Are

What You'll Do
  • Provide medical, surgical, and emergency care for multiple species.
  • Conduct physical exams; diagnose and treat medical conditions; manage both routine and complex cases.
  • Perform surgeries, including farm and field surgeries.
  • Deliver preventive care-vaccines, nutrition counseling, herd health, parasite control.
  • Complete farm calls and participate in shared on-call duties.
  • Work closely with skilled technicians, assistants, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in our practice management system.
  • Build strong client relationships with owners who genuinely value your expertise.

Who You Are
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree / VMD or equivalent, with a Georgia license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experienced in mixed-animal work or a motivated new graduate with strong large-animal interest.
  • Communicative, compassionate, and confident treating varied species-from cats to cattle.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, community-oriented clinic.

Excited about hands-on large animal work and willing to participate in rotational on-call duties.
