In the role of Vendor Compliance Consultant, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for medical vendor relationships within the workers compensation program. This individual contributor role is responsible for overseeing vendor performance, ensuring accurate pricing, maintaining compliance, and driving quality outcomes. The Vendor Compliance Consultant collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure best practices, cost containment, and operational excellence across the medical vendor network.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions

  • Vendor oversight and Performance Management - oversee vendors relationships to ensure compliance, accurate pricing, appropriate protocols, and performance metrics are being met through regular audits and performance reviews
  • Relationship Management - serve as primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution, facilitate meetings and business reviews in order to build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Data Analysis and Reporting - perform analysis to identify trends and monitor vendor performance in order to present findings and insight to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Contract Management - participate in RFP process and contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration and Process Improvement - collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure best practices and identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation of solutions

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in workers compensation, managed care, or healthcare vendor management
  • Experience with medical cost containment, bills review, or utilization review
  • Familiarity with workers’ compensation fee schedules and state regulatory requirements

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Base Pay Range: $93,168.50 - $115,090.50 Per Year

Flex-Hybrid Work Environment:

Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
