Position Summary

The Vendor Business Manager (VBM) - Microsoft LATAM serves as the primary liaison between Microsoft and Ingram Micro, driving the execution of business strategies and growth initiatives across Latin America. This role is responsible for managing the Microsoft portfolio, developing go-to-market initiatives, optimizing business performance, and strengthening relationships with Microsoft stakeholders and internal teams.

The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen with vendor management expertise to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives across key markets, including Brazil, Chile, and Peru.


What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Ingram Micro and Microsoft, managing vendor relationships and business priorities across LATAM
  • Drive execution of Microsoft business strategies and growth initiatives across the entire Microsoft portfolio
  • Partner with Microsoft stakeholders and internal teams to develop and execute business plans that support revenue and profitability goals
  • Manage forecasting, inventory planning, pricing strategies, and business performance to optimize results
  • Oversee Marketing Development Funds (MDF), vendor incentives, rebates, and promotional programs to maximize return on investment
  • Analyze business performance, market trends, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
  • Support sales teams through business planning, opportunity development, and vendor program execution
  • Monitor key business metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership and vendor stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and resolve business challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft stakeholders across multiple regions and functional areas
What You Bring to the Role
  • 8+ years of experience in vendor management, channel sales, business development, product management, or a related technology-focused role
  • Experience working with Microsoft solutions, programs, or partner ecosystems
  • Experience supporting or selling Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, is preferred
  • Strong understanding of vendor management, forecasting, inventory planning, pricing strategy, MDF, incentives, and rebate programs
  • Proven ability to analyze business performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with an understanding of profitability drivers and business economics
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence decisions across vendor, sales, marketing, and operations organizations
  • Experience working across Latin American markets, preferably including Brazil, Chile, and Peru
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex business initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,100.00 - $137,900.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
