Titre du poste : Directeur Associé - Performance stratégique des fournisseurs

Le Directeur associé - Performance stratégique des fournisseurs est responsable de diriger, superviser et gérer la performance des fournisseurs (c.-à-d. coût, qualité, livraison) des fournisseurs assignés ainsi que la livraison à temps des commodités qui lui sont attribuées. Il supervise et gère les activités de développement des fournisseurs sur les sites des fournisseurs. Il travaille étroitement avec l'équipe d'Approvisionnement stratégique dans l'identification et la sélection de fournisseurs ainsi que de partenariats stratégiques / initiatives majeures (" big plays "). Il coordonne avec l'équipe Qualité fournisseurs la gestion et la résolution des non-conformités de production.

Le Directeur associé soutiendra également la mise en œuvre des processus au sein de l'équipe, incluant le travail standards, les KPIs et les méthodes.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil du lundi au vendredi, selon des horaires flexibles et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?
  • Superviser et gérer l'exécution des contrats (y compris les actions visant à corriger une performance non conforme) pour les sites fournisseurs sous ta responsabilité.
  • Développer de solides partenariats avec les fournisseurs assignés et prendre des mesures proactives, en collaboration avec d'autres groupes P&WC (ex. : Qualité, Ingénierie), afin de gérer / réduire le coût des matériaux achetés.
  • Exécuter la stratégie de gestion de la relation fournisseurs pour un portefeuille de fournisseurs qui t'est attribué; superviser l'exécution de la gestion de la relation fournisseurs.
  • Gérer la capacité du fournisseur à répondre aux exigences de livraison, y compris l'exécution des actions correctives nécessaires. Faire le suivi directement avec le fournisseur lorsque la situation atteint ton niveau d'intervention afin de combler les écarts et de t'assurer que des actions correctives sont mises en place.
  • Gérer une équipe de spécialistes de comptes et de gestionnaires de comptes, et t'assurer de la conformité des dates d'engagement (" promise dating ") du fournisseur lorsque celui-ci ne répond pas.
  • Analyser les données de dépenses du flux de valeur et évaluer l'expansion des marges et la création de valeur. Identifier des projets de réduction de coûts et d'amélioration.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Diplôme universitaire en chaîne d'approvisionnement, administration des affaires, achats, administration/commerce, génie mécanique et/ou domaine similaire.
  • Plus de 10 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.
  • Expérience en gestion de ressources directes et indirectes afin d'atteindre les objectifs opérationnels.
  • Bonnes aptitudes en communication et en leadership.
  • Solides compétences fonctionnelles, d'affaires et stratégiques.
  • MBA (atout).

Job title : Value Stream Manager

Why join our team?

The Value Stream Manager is responsible for leading, overseeing, and managing supplier performance (i.e., cost, quality, and delivery) for assigned suppliers, as well as ensuring the on-time delivery of the commodities under their responsibility. The incumbent oversees and manages supplier development activities at supplier sites. They work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team to identify and select suppliers, as well as strategic partnerships and major initiatives ("big plays"). They also coordinate with the Supplier Quality team to manage and resolve production non-conformities.

The Associate Director will also support the implementation of team processes, including standard work, KPIs, and methodologies.

This position is based at our Longueuil facility and is performed on-site exclusively.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Oversee and manage contract execution (including corrective actions for non-compliant performance) for the supplier sites under your responsibility.
  • Develop strong partnerships with assigned suppliers and take proactive measures, in collaboration with other P&WC teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering), to manage and reduce the cost of purchased materials.
  • Execute the supplier relationship management strategy for your assigned supplier portfolio and oversee the implementation of supplier relationship management activities.
  • Manage supplier capacity to meet delivery requirements, including the execution of necessary corrective actions. Follow up directly with suppliers when issues escalate to your level of responsibility to close performance gaps and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Lead a team of Account Specialists and Account Managers, ensuring supplier commitment dates ("promise dates") are met and taking appropriate action when suppliers fail to deliver on their commitments.
  • Analyze value stream spending data to assess margin expansion opportunities and value creation. Identify and drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
