Full Job Description
SALARY: $84,800 - $100,700, bonus eligible
ROLE SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing the site's Process Safety Management program and maintenance activities associated with the ammonia refrigeration system. The role is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant. This role ensures regulatory compliance, mechanical integrity, operational reliability, and safe operation of all covered processes while serving as the technical leader for PSM-related activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and continuously improve the site's Process Safety Management program in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards
Coordinate and track completion of PSM elements including Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), Mechanical Integrity (MI), Operating Procedures, Process Safety Information (PSI), Incident Investigations, Compliance Audits, Training and Competency Programs, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure activities support regulatory compliance and mechanical integrity requirements for both ammonia and wastewater treatment
Support emergency preparedness and response planning for ammonia-related incidents
Support permit compliance, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements
Actively coaching and mentoring plant personnel to increase expertise
Responsible for ensuring the maintenance plans are well understood and executed by all including coordinating with the Reliability Manager
Supporting Capex (capital expenditure) plan and building economic business cases as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
