USA SCIB Product Specialist, Structuring Analyst

The USA SCIB Product Specialist, Structuring Analyst will join the SCIB Markets Financing team, supporting the growth of the U.S. client franchise across total return swaps (TRS), repo, margin lending, and other secured financing products.

The role combines client coverage and transaction execution with financing analysis, portfolio monitoring, and development of tools and analytics. The Analyst will work closely with senior members of the desk and partners across Sales, Trading, Risk, Legal, and Operations.

  • Support the origination, structuring, pricing, and execution of TRS, margin lending, repo, and other financing transactions for U.S. clients.

  • Support senior desk members in developing client relationships, identifying financing opportunities, preparing client materials, and responding to client requests.

  • Analyze transaction economics, collateral, liquidity, concentration, leverage, counterparty exposure, and other key risk factors.

  • Assist in determining financing terms, including pricing, haircuts, margin requirements, tenor, and structural protections.

  • Monitor transactions and portfolio exposures, including collateral values, margin, concentrations, counterparty risk, and relevant market developments.

  • Build and enhance models, monitoring tools, dashboards, and automated processes to improve pricing, risk management, client coverage, and desk efficiency.

  • Use programming and data analytics to aggregate, analyze, and visualize transactions, client, market, and risk data.

  • Coordinate transaction execution with clients and internal partners across Risk, Legal, Operations, Finance, and other functions.

  • Take increasing ownership of client activity, transaction analysis, execution, portfolio monitoring, and desk analytics.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required


Qualifications:

  • Ideally 1–2 years of experience financing credit assets, including experience in Markets, Repo, Securities Financing, Structured Credit Financing, or a related role.

  • Candidates with relevant experience in Structuring, Trading, or Sales will be considered.

  • Relevant asset experience includes private credit assets, securitized products, non-traditional fixed income securities, and liquid credit.

  • Strong understanding of financing concepts, including collateral, margin, haircuts, leverage, funding costs, regulatory capital and counterparty risk, with the ability to analyze and quantify risk.

  • Familiarity with TRS, repo, margin lending, derivatives, or other secured financing products preferred.

  • Strong quantitative, data analysis, and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Programming and data-analysis skills, including Python, or similar tools, with an interest in building practical desk tools and automation.

  • Strong client orientation and commercial mindset, with an interest in developing relationships and growing the U.S. financing franchise.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven Markets environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Certifications:

  • SIE, Series 7, 63, and 79

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$110,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$135,000.00 USD
