Position Summary

As a Manager II, Quality Engineer in Walmart Supply Chain, you'll lead quality-focused process improvement and implementation efforts across a network of Distribution Centers using Walmart Performance System (WPS) methods. You'll identify and eliminate quality losses, reduce process variation, and support the successful deployment of new processes, tools, and operational standards. This role blends project leadership, implementation execution, and change management to deliver measurable KPI improvements and sustainable operational performance.
What You'll Do
  • Lead WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion) to eliminate quality losses, reduce variation, and improve operational performance.
  • Drive implementation and deployment of process improvement initiatives across multiple Distribution Centers, ensuring successful adoption and sustainment.
  • Build quality loss profiles, KPI metrics, dashboards, and gap analyses to guide priorities and measure implementation effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, training materials, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to support rollout activities, influence stakeholders, and resolve implementation barriers.
  • Deliver results through loss elimination, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts that improve network-wide performance.
  • Train, coach, and support facility leadership teams on new processes, tools, and best practices to ensure long-term sustainability.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience applying quality and process improvement methodologies (RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, time & motion) in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Experience leading implementation, deployment, or process improvement projects across multiple facilities or locations.
  • Strength in KPI analysis, loss profiling, dashboard development, and translating insights into sustained process changes.
  • Experience developing and deploying standard work, training programs, documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Proven project execution, stakeholder management, and change leadership across varying operational priorities.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive adoption of new processes across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% in support of implementation, training, and operational improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale supply chain, distribution center, or network-wide operational implementations.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
